Jill Hennessy
She's a native Edmontonian who has Irish, Italian and Swedish roots, along with French Ukrainian, French, and Swedish. She has a twin sister named Jacqueline is an actor. Jill could speak several languages as she grew up. This include Italian, French, and Spanish. She became interested in the world of acting when she was 12. The path to acting began in Toronto in the role of an actor in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her younger sister. In the following years, she was studying improv at Second City with Deb Kimmet. After moving in New York, Claire signed a two-year deal with Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. For the duration of her 3 year stint, she also spent time acting in feature films such as RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1994), and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). Over the next couple of years she landed gigs in several forgettable films however, in 1999 she landed a starring role on the television miniseries uremberg opposite Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York, Exit Wounds and other major productions would follow. She landed a lead role on NBC's crime show Crossing Jordan. And in 2007, in recognition of her contributions to the show, she received a Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding female lead in a drama Series". She married another actor, Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. They have two children. In 2007 the couple was recognized as a member of the Canadian Walk of Fame.
