Still in her prime, Rihanna has become one of the music's top performers. Her parents were born in Barbados and she began singing at a young age. The singer was disturbed by the chaos within her home and the constant disputes between her parents. She decided to immerse herself into music. When she was in high-school she formed a band and auditioned for Evan Rodgers. Evan Rodgers was impressed by her talents. The girl moved to New York to start a profession as a full-time singer. Rihanna dropped her debut album and became an instant hit. She was a favorite amongst youngsters for her uplifting dance music, which was a hit. It led to her becoming a director. Talented and young, Rihanna is now regarded as both a teen-idol and a fashion idol. Rihanna uses her fame for charity and regularly contributes to various organizations.
